How does it function?
Upon screen turn-off, Permission Ruler automatically revokes permissions from all apps (unless exempted). When you turn on the screen, it re-grants all permissions (unless locked).

Why should I employ it?
Oftentimes, phones remain idle with the screen off for more than 70% of the time. This implies that if you grant an app permission to access a feature, that app maintains that permission indefinitely – even if you seldom use that feature. Additionally, it is highly likely that you granted permissions to an app used infrequently throughout the year (e.g., travel/hotel booking apps). Permission Ruler refrains from automatically renewing permissions for unused apps.
