How does it function?

This implies that if you grant an app permission to access a feature, that app maintains that permission indefinitely – even if you seldom use that feature. Additionally, it is highly likely that you granted permissions to an app used infrequently throughout the year (e.g., travel/hotel booking apps). Permission Ruler refrains from automatically renewing permissions for unused apps.
